Step 1 – Apply - Please review the teaching opportunities that are listed below to see which position aligns with your qualifications and expectations. Once you decide to apply to a specific job, you will upload a current resume that highlights your teaching experiences. If you would like some helpful hints on what to include in your international teaching resume, click on our resume blog. Once your resume is submitted to a TeachBrave hiring director for review, you will receive an email within 2-4 business days to schedule an initial interview. If you are interested in applying for more than one position, we would be happy to discuss all of your options during the interview. Additional post-application steps are listed below.

Step 2 – Interview with TeachBrave - Before the interview, please make sure you have researched the country and thoroughly reviewed the job description so that you are prepared for the interview. You and a TeachBrave staff member will coordinate a time to conduct a Skype or a phone interview, where you will discuss your teaching experience,  details of the position, and benefits – which will help you decide if that position is the best fit for you.

Step 3 – Interview with the School - If you and the TeachBrave staff member decide that you are a good match for the position, you will then move forward to the second interview with the school’s hiring director. In this interview you will discuss the school’s philosophy and job requirements, your teaching and traveling experiences, your classroom management philosophy, and why you think you are a good fit for the school. You may also be asked to demonstrate a lesson or submit a video of a demo lesson at some point after the interview. They will then make the final hiring decision. Once the school hiring director has made their decision they will send you an email accepting or declining your application.

Step 4 – Accept the job - If you are offered the position and choose to accept, that is when your adventures in teaching and traveling begin! The TeachBrave staff and your new school will work together to get all of your necessary paperwork gathered and processed, in order to obtain a work visa and begin booking your flight. If you did not receive an offer, we are happy to look into other positions to see if you would perhaps qualify for them. If you do not qualify at this time, you can always reapply once you have the necessary teaching experience.
